*Mass urban transit also can save people money by making it so that they do not have to buy a car because they can find other ways such as buses and trains to get to work, school, and anywhere else they have to go.
*Another way that it helps out our planet is that it saves on the amount of cars passing over our streets and roads which helps us to not have to repair streets as much as we do now which also helps with the amount of pollution in the air.
*Mass transit allows elderly, disabled, and children who can not drive yet the freedom of being able to go where they want when they want without having to rely on someone else to drive them.
*Mass transit also makes more land available for productive uses because it limits the need for more and more parking lots since most people will not have a car to park there.
*Because there will be less cars on the road people will be able to get to their homes, jobs, and schools a lot sooner because they will not have to wait in traffic as much.
